Exercise is paramount to cardiovascular health. Keeping healthy takes effort, but it is worth it.  Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death, and eating healthier and cardiovascular exercise can really help you to cut down your chances of contracting heart disease. By practicing cardiovascular exercise 3 to 4 times a week at 10 to 20 minutes per session, you can drastically reduce your chances of contracting many types of illness.  Because cardiovascular allows for better circulation as and pulmonary capacity it allows for healthier lungs and heart.

Cardiovascular exercises vary, including running, jogging, playing sports, riding a bicycle, and many other activities as well. By practicing good cardiovascular health, you will notice you feel healthier, you will have more energy, and you will be able to do more. It is very important that you make sure to speak to your doctor before beginning strenuous exercise to be sure you are in physical shape for it.

Once you and your doctor have conferred, make sure to start your cardiovascular regimen slowly. As you build endurance and strength, you will be able to exercise longer and longer. It is very important to stretch before exercise to prevent pulled muscles and other injuries. It is also very important to use cardiovascular exercise for a cool down period after any work out. This will allow your body systems to slow back down to normal. If you do not use the cool down period and stop your exercise abruptly, you are taking a chance of shocking your system and causing illness or injury.
